Office 2019 Professional Plus: the solution for ambitious users
Users who use the full scope of Microsoft Office at home or in the office are excellently advised with the Professional Plus Edition. All important programs are included: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher und Access. OneNote is now also available for download via the Windows Store for quickly creating notes and making them available on all devices via the cloud. With the large scope of different programs, the Professional Plus version is aimed primarily at people who work at home in their home office or who are looking for a powerful, reliable solution in a small office for organising documents, tables & co.

Word 2019 is the most powerful tool for creating documents. From everyday "paperwork" to official company documents, the functionality of Word covers the entire range of text creation. Also new in this edition is the improved virtual ink recognition, which means that writing with a pen directly on the display is now better translated into printed typewriting. Voice input has also been improved. Microsoft has also made numerous detailed improvements: SVG graphics, for example, allow even complex image documents to be integrated without requiring a lot of memory. The scaling and other measures for the image processing are also successful in this regard.

For companies, Access 2019 provides a powerful solution for creating and managing all types of databases. The new version supports the generation of database applications that work directly in the browser and are therefore particularly slim. Stored data then ends up in SQL databases, for example, where there is secure access. Publisher 2019 improves the possibilities for publishing graphics of any kind: for presentations, advertising, flyers, magazines & co. Microsoft has significantly improved both programs in Office 2019 Professional Plus to expand pen recognition in Publisher and accelerate collaboration with colleagues on databases in Access.

When working with spreadsheets, Excel 2019 continues to offer the best features: In this version, Excel offers tables of all kinds from accounting and product databases to entries for tax returns & co. in an even better way. Among other things, new representations of visual information have been added, and more mathematical functions are integrated by default. What remains is the excellent compatibility with CSV files. Similarly, PowerPoint 2019 now offers the option to integrate Ultra-HD recordings directly into presentations, as well as to freely scale graphics and zoom in and out of images. This makes it easier to dispense with external image processing.

Outlook 2019 continues to grant access to all stored contacts and e-mail addresses. Especially in offices in connection with an Exchange server, this provides a great opportunity for always keeping information about customers and partners up to date. In addition, the application supports the creation of any number of email accounts, which accommodates users with a large number of accounts. Across all programs, Office 2019 Professional Plus offers the tried-and-tested interface that has been integrated into every application for more than a decade. The workflow thus extends across every application and is very similar everywhere – whether in Word, Excel, Outlook or PowerPoint.

Microsoft limits the use of Office 2019 Professional Plus to Windows 10. This means that none of the included programs is compatible with an older edition of Windows. Furthermore, this collection of programs is a license that belongs entirely to the buyer. It can be used after the time of purchase for an indefinite time, without further subscriptions. Microsoft ensures all editions of Office 2019 will be supported for at least five years on all device types.
